Position: Systems Administration Manager

The position is responsible for maintaining the integrity and efficient operation of the organization’s custom-built database and information management systems. The systems administration coordinator will work with senior management, database developer consultant and staff to plan, implement and support a dynamic, robust database. The coordinator will be responsible for managing the integration and maintenance of the ITVS database and digital asset management system. Experience with digital asset management is not required but preferred. Familiarity with media and broadcast data systems is a plus. The coordinator will also provide user training and support for office applications.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provide oversight and support for the integrity of the database and information systems
- Work with senior management to ensure that the database continues to meet organizational goals and cross-departmental needs
- Work with staff to ensure continuing efficient and productive use of database
- Work with off-site database consultant and in-house systems administrator to troubleshoot, modify and support database and system
- Ensure that database and digital asset management systems are integrated and information shared by both systems is accurate
- Update and maintain documentation manual; administer users and privileges
- Provide training and user support for office applications, including MS Office, Filemaker
- Other duties as assigned
- BA or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience in managing projects, preferably technical
- Intermediate knowledge of Filemaker software
- General understanding of application programming, database and system design, and client/server architecture
- Excellent ability to communicate with technical consultants and database users
- Software training and support experience
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to thrive both in an independent and team environment, multi-task and work under deadlines
- Sense of humor under pressure
